He purchased it from DGY Motorsports of Downers Grove, IL. Recently just had the carburetor rebuilt and oil changed w/filter.

What do you need to know about a Yamaha XT350?
Needs nothing. Extremely reliable. Will never leave you stranded. This is a KICKSTART bike. Doesn’t even need a battery to power lights or start bike because it has a build in OEM generator. Absolutely bulletproof bike and very easy to maintain. Cruises at 70 mph all day long at 5500 rpm. 6500 rpm does 80mph. Never maxed out mph or rpm.

Which is better the XT350 or the Dr?
The XT350 is a nice bike but the DR is better. Better suspension, better power, later models came with e-start, more aftermarket support…. #14 I just bought my XT350 today.
