Do you need to drop the primary isolator on a FXD?

If you are only changing the swingarm isolaters no need to drop the primary. thanks kemo,maybe i used the wrong terminology,lets try rubber motor mount,i`ve heard it called both Click to expand… I’ve only changed the front one on a FXD but I’m familar with the rear. The biggest problem is going to be just getting at it.

What kind of vibration does a 2000 Electra Glide have?

I had the same problem and here’s the story. My 2000 Electra Glide has a little over 50K miles on it. At about the 40K mile mark I replaced the front motor mount. After changing it, the bike developed a terrible vibration between 1500 to 2500 RPM’s. Shook so bad it started breaking faring mounts.
