The bike hasn’t been running to my knowledge for 4-5 months. Prior to my purchase the previous owner, a friend, said he cleaned the carbs. Basically, she’ll start up fine and idle around 1500-2000 rpm (full choke) but upon going to 1/2 choke or giving her any throttle, she dies.

Where is the intake valve on a scooter?
In order to access the intake valve on your scooter you will need to gain access to the engine. Removing the seat and the plastic housing which lies beneath the seat. Remove the the intake valve cover (Flat metallic box underneath the intake hose).

If throttle, most likely carbs. 3) Bottom line – something has changed… any changes you have made recently, or anything you’ve overlooked telling us? I checked all the rev limiters.
