Why does no start, no spark trouble shooting?

If it sparks one time when you turn on the switch it means the points are always grounded. probably the armored cable. if you disconnect the armored cable from the distributor it should run.. A few years ago my 28 did something similar after setting during our humid rainy season.
What causes an ATV to have no spark?
Spark, Great! No spark, we’ll get to that in a moment. If you have spark, but it still won’t crank, your problem is most likely fuel related since the fuel/air mixture screw generally comes preset. Disconncet the fuel line from the carburetor to make sure fuel is getting to it.

Why is the spark not working on my seadoo?
Once I try to start the seadoo beeps followed by a clicking noise down by the battery area. New discovery. If I press the start button before attaching my key then attach the key and press start again, my spark starts. Any thoughts ? I’m still betting faulty start switch.

Sparkes93: you always have to “wake it up” by pressing the start/stop button before starting. If not it wont start…. If this was the problem it wasent really a problem Not the key, that’s only a magnet. Check the battery and make sure it is conected.

Why does my Gade bike have no spark?
Pulled the motor on my 09′ Gade, fixed the issue & put it right back in. Bike started & ran fine after. Now it wont start due to a “no spark” issue. I have 12V to the coil, all fuses & relays are good. Swapped the CDI from one of my other running bikes and still no spark. :th_smiliefrustrated:th_smiliepissed: Am I missing a ground somewhere??
Why does my engine not have a spark?
Be careful not to crank the engine for too long before checking the plug, or youøss risk overheating and possibly damage the starter motor. Whether the spark plug gapping is incorrect, the plug has gone bad, or it’s the wrong plug altogether for your engine, it may no longer be able to provide a spark.
