Why is my side by side over heating?

A clogged or dirty radiator or radiator screen is likely the number one cause of overheating ATVs. The radiator needs a constant flow of cool air for it to dispose of the engine heat properly. The back side of the radiator is often overlooked when cleaning the ATV.

Why is my Polaris Ranger 800 HD overheating?

I have a 2012 Ranger 800 HD that has had an overeating issue since I bought it. It would get so hot by the time the fan came on with temps in the 210 + range and when the fan kicked on if would drop to about 190. At times if you stopped with it hot the ranger would not start until the temp cooled down.

Can a Polaris Ranger be ridden in water?

NOW YOU CANNOT HAVE THE FAN ON ALL THE TIME IF YOU ARE RIDING IN WATER THAT WILL TOUCH THE FAN BLADES. I do not have any issue with this because I never put my machine in water that deep. Just thought I would pass this along. Only another negative is that your fan motor will probably wear out sooner/faster and then again it may last forever.

Why is there a hole in my Polaris Ranger?

THE PRESSURE FROM THE BODY WEIGHT ALSO PLACED A HOLE IN THE FUEL LINE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE THEY CONFIRMED THE HOLE IN THE FUEL LINE AND STATED THAT IT NEEDED TO BE REPLACED ALONG WITH THE SEATS.

Is there a way to turn off Polaris Ranger?

The polaris dealer told me the negative to turning it on manually is what is you forget to turn it off because i can make it run with the key turned on honestly this is not an issue because common sense when you turn it off is to hit the toggle switch and manually turn it off. Works great and no more high temps.
