Where is the starter clutch on a Traxter XT?
the starter clutch, aka sprag clutch, is a one way gear clutch that is located behind the flywheel cover, and behind the flywheel itself. unless a wire was not plugged in enough, there are no parts on that cover or effected by that flywheel cover that would cause your shifting to fail.
What’s the problem with my Traxter electronic start?
My Traxter had a sprag go on it so when the electronic start was used it sounded as it something was grinding in the engine. After a bit of research it turned up the sprag issue. For fixing it most all of the info needed can be found here:
