Why does my side by side keep stalling?
When the engine keeps stalling or bogs down or stalls when applying throttle. When the engine idles fine but won’t rev up, it is a sign of it getting too little fuel, but it can also be because it is getting too much fuel. The bike may be getting enough fuel to idle but not enough to keep up with hard acceleration.
How do you adjust the TPS on an Arctic Cat?
Here is how you do it….
- Key off.
- Insert the jumper pin in the Diagnostic plug.
- Hold the Throttle wide open.
- Key on.
- Hold throttle for 10 to 15 seconds.
- key off.
How do you test an Arctic Cat TPS sensor?
Loosen the two mounting screws and rotate the TPS a little clockwise until you get 850 at idle and then tighten it and recheck. The idle reading you are getting is on the lean side and would make it have a lean bog like mine had. The meter reading will go to K-ohms once you get past 1000 ohm.

What happens when you give Arctic Cat 500 gas?
