How many miles does a Honda Hornet have?
I have recently bought a 1998 plate Honda Hornet 600cc with 22,000 miles on the clock. It drove like a dream back home for 140 miles. Whilst the bike was sat in my garage for about a month I changed the oil filter/oil and the battery.
Why does my Honda Hornet engine keep cutting out?
I think it is the diaphram type on this bike, therefore the fuel is only turned on when the bike is running. But it sounds like it is turning the fuel off while the engine is running, causing fuel starvation and cutting the engine out. Perhaps a new fuel tap or fuel tap diaphram would cure it.
