Are there any issues with my 2005 Rincon 650?
2005 Rincon 650 major issues?! Hello all and thanks in advance for any help on this topic! Friend wants to trade this bike for a couple of pistols (good trade for me) if I can figure out what is going on with it. I’ll have detailed diagnoses in the next few days when I get a chance to put some tools and testing to it.
Why does my Honda Rincon have low power?
They was also known for the auto cam chain adjuster to let loose and then work again (jump time). Again, most of the time it would still start and be low on power. Had a honda Rincon awhile back that started but idled rough and had absolutely zero power and bogged out whenever you gave it throttle. Replaced camshaft and totally cleared up issue.
What to do when your Honda Rincon starts to rattle?
Sounds like you have the tensioner figured out on how it works. If it starts to rattle again release the tensioner all the way and then hold it back into it’s place on the motor. See if there is a good gap between the tensioner and the cylinder. If there isn’t then the timing chain is stretched.
Can a Honda Rincon spring be taken apart?
It should go out by itself but not in. If you was able to push it in, it is bad. well, if i rest the plunger on the table and push it won’t budge. but if i sorta tap/smash it with my upper body weight on it then it pushes in and comes back out. not fluently though. can it be taken apart and maybe the spring be replaced?
