Can you get a Polaris bike to move?
Cant get it to move a few feet. Sits for a couple days works fine. Hunt a second week where it had to be hauled. On the way home more snowy condition, bike again wouldn’t move or run properly. Had dry again. Love the bike other than the fact you can’t take anywhere on a open trailer unless it’s clear skies.

How does the Polaris 4WD system work in reverse?
If you aren’t ready when you hit the throttle in reverse with the yellow button pressed…you WILL fly over the handle bars. Since 95% you don’t need 4WD in reverse…they put a restriction in reverse to keep you from killing yourself. The last words spoken before a YouTube video is filmed: “Hold my beer, now watch this…”

The ’08 and newer models have “Active Descent Control” and it works in all ranges forward and reverse in AWD. The switch for AWD has 2X4, 4X4 and ADC 4X4.
How to get 4WD on a Polaris Sportsman?
You can get Active Descent Control on the Sportsman Deluxe models, which started in 2006. Before that….there’s a trick you can do. If you’re going down a steep hill…at the crest…put the ATV in reverse and press the yellow button. Jam the throttle to spin the rear tire to engage 4WD, and hit brake not releasing the yellow button.
Are there any Polaris mudders on the market?
