Why does my motorcycle die when I stop?
The number one reason why most motorcycles die when you stop is the motorcycle’s lack of use for too long. The truth is the lack of use of the motorcycle overtime. It greatly affects many parts of the motorcycle that start to get dirty, which causes various problems.
What causes a bike to stall at idle?
The slightest air leak would upset idle mixture and cause stalling or high idle speed that cannot be adjusted with the throttle stop screw. I’d look at some simple stuff first, like the spark plug – which might fire OK at idle, but misfires under throttle?
What should I do if my bike is stalling?
What you might be doing with the choke is trying to keep the bike running, and that is a job better done with the idle stop screw. Try to increase the idle with this screw, and hopefully the bike will at least run without using the choke.
Why does my bike idle but bogs with throttle?
If the engine idles fine, it pretty much eliminates the possibility of an “air leak”. The slightest air leak would upset idle mixture and cause stalling or high idle speed that cannot be adjusted with the throttle stop screw. Why does my bike stall when I switch gears?
When the bike is actually rolling there doesn’t seem to be too much of a problem, except that it stalls when you switch gears unless you have the choke in a bit (this bike, you can never turn off the choke or it stalls immediately) otherwise the bike stalls even if you are giving it gas.

What to do if your bike Idles but bogs with throttle?
I will look during tomorrow times. If it idles fine but it bogs down with throttle, your high speed gas jet is probably clogged. Clean your carb and spray carb cleaner in all small passages, make sure air can flow through all ports no matter how small. Put it back together and it should run great.

What to do when your engine stalls at idle?
Do what Steve said and pull the vacuum line to the booster and cap it off and see if it still stalls. If it doesn’t stall, then it’s time for a new booster. And if it does stall, then it’s time to look at the ISC and make sure it’s working correctly.
