Why does my speedometer not work on my Fatboy?
I just bought a 04 Fatboy. The right turn signal don’t work, but the left works fine. The speedometer dose not work, when I turn the ignition on the needle wiggles a little, when I turn to Access the needle goes all the way around and points straight down.
Why does my Speedo not work on my Harley?
Speedo works when it wants but only at highway speeds and again randomly. Now blinkers are starting too work intermittently. Any ideas? Don’t believe both switches would go at same time, Short maybe or relay. Not sure and I would appreciate any ideas. Might be a failing Harley speed sensor. Remove the sensor and see if it needs to be cleaned.
How to fix a speedometer on a Harley Davidson?
FMH Reply: Michael, check out your ECM plug. Disconnect it from the ECM and blow it out with compressed air. Reassemble with electric grease. You should also do the same with your TSSM (turn signal security module) and its plug. You did not mention any modifications to this m/c. That info is usually helpful. Reply: Thanks you.

What was the problem with my Harley Davidson speedometer?
Each time the speedo would drop close to zero. I coasted to the side and turned off run/kill switch and key. A quick visual showed nothing. After about 30-40 seconds turned it on, fired it up and no more issues before getting home. It was 30-35 miles of mostly freeway and it was hot (Houston summertime hot).
