I am experiencing the same issue on both a 2011 Honda Rancher AT and a 2013 Honda Rancher AT. The 2011 has gotten to the point of being almost undriveable as it slams and skips gears all the way up to 5th. Just put a new shift angle sensor on the 2011 and now it shifts like new.
