Thanks for the help guys! loosen the clutch outter nut..with a screw driver..turn the center screw counter clockwise until you feal it start to get tight ?..while holding the outter nut with a wrench ?..turn the center screw back clock-wise 1/4 turn..hold it there with the screw driver…then tighten down the outter nut..this is the pre-settings.

It’s located on the front crankcase cover, toward the left side of the ATV. And if adjusting the clutch freeplay doesn’t help, I wouldn’t worry about it too much because I’ve seen quite a few of the 450s do that. Helmut i have a 450 es i replaced angle sensor still doesnt shift what to do now ?

When to move clutch adjuster in Honda Foreman?

The trick is to make sure you don’t move the adjuster when you are tightening down the locknut because it is pretty tight working in there, but be careful and it will go fine.
