Where does the oil go in a sidewinder?
Your engine oil drains from your oil tank. The drain for that will depend on the style of tank that you have. Most horseshoe style tanks have a drain hose off the back that usually just has a plug in it. There is no engine oil to be drained from the engine. The drain plug on the case is only for wet sumping situations.
Is there a s and S Sidewinder series 107?
I don’t know that there is just an S&S 107 or Sidewinder Series 107″ I think all 4″ bore S&S motors are denoted as Super Sidewinder.
What’s the difference between S & S Sidewinder and Super Siderwinder?
The “Super Sidewinder” means the case has the cam chest moved out to accommodate the larger 4″ bore where as the “Super Sidewinder +” means it has the cam chest moved out to accommodate the 4-1/8 bore and is topped with the twin cam parts. I’m going to call S&S later today. I’ll update y’all after I talk to them
What kind of oil do I use on my evolution Sidewinder?
The drain plug on the case is only for wet sumping situations. Use a genuine HD oil filter for Evolution powered Dyna Glide(that filter is slightly larger than a standard evo filter), or S&S oil filter. I highly recommend using Royal Purple synthetic motor oil. It has superior performing qualities.
