Where are the shocks on a Yamaha Attak?
They bolt on to each side of the rails. When the snow gets lean, it’s very easy to reach down, pull them off the suspension rails and onto the ground and let them do their thing. However, you don’t want to forget them and back up with them down. They will get ruined. We also wanted to upgrade the shocks.

How do you remove a drive shaft on a Yamaha?
If you loose track of the locations, you can always go to the Yamaha Parts Finder on line to see the correct orientation and location. Before you pull the cover you will have to remove the drive shaft locking collar. You will need a star socket to remove the set screw from that collar.
