I usually cruise at the speed limit to 5 over. Doesn’t much matter what rpm it’s running as long as it feels right. My motor likes everything from 1200 rpm to 6000 rpm, although when ‘motoring around’ it likes anything between 1200 rpm to 2500 rpm.
