How tall are the seats on the Buell Blast?
Look at the bright side. The Blast starts right up every time. The only problem is when the engine is in between cold and warm, the automatic choke gets confused. The bike coughs and sputters–but it still starts and clears itself out after a bit. Two seat heights are available–27.5 in. and a low 25.5-incher.
What kind of bike is the Buell Blast 500?
The first was the Buell Blast 500 and the second was the Kawasaki Ninja 250. This Buell Blast Review will hopefully give new riders a comprehensive look into this fun little bike. While I liked the looks of the Ninja, I really wasn’t looking for a true sports bike so I ruled that out right away.
How long does it take to change oil on a 2001 Buell Blast?
With some quick research, I was able to find everything I needed to know to change the oil on my 2001 Buell Blast, and I accomplished this in just over an hour. Not bad given it was the first time changing the oil in a bike. The bike seems to take a bit to warm up.
What’s the average speed of a Buell Blast?
It’s most noticeable at a standstill but acceptable at cruise. While it will run all day at 70 to 75 mph, megamile touring is not the Blast’s long suit. Even after our daily commute of 25 or so miles one way, it took several minutes for us to become reacquainted with certain parts of our anatomy.
