Why does my security light keep going on on my Harley Davidson?
Once in a while my red security light comes on, stays on for a while then goes off. This happens sporadically. When I bought the bike (it was a used bike from a dealer) there was no mention of a security system on the bike (no key fobs either). Does anyone know what might be the cause of this? Thanks in advance for all your help.

The red “key” light is telling you that the security system is operational. The fact that it goes out after you start it up means that the security system is disarmed. What have you changed in the electrical system of the bike? Did you add any LED lights? Have you checked for Trouble Codes? Do you have a shop manual for the bike?
