According to traffic laws, motorcycles are required to be equipped with at least one headlight, one taillight, a brake light, a registration plate light, rear reflectors, and turn signal lights. Just like any other motorized vehicle, a motorcycle operator must use a signal before turning or making a lane change.

Nobody seems to know where the relay or flasher is. The left side works fine. Near Fredericton, New Brunswick. Turn the key on and left signal. Should be able to hear the clicking of the relay. More than likely under the left side cover.

You can feel it just above the side carpeted pannel near the front of the pannel. A simple clean of the connectors might do the trick. Power to the flashers and turn signals goes throught this unit. It is the fused purple wire that sends power to the flasher and turn signals.

If you had DealerTool or other OBD reader software, you could probably track the problem down. The 2008 T100 I just added to my collection decided to have a light problem. The horn, turn signals, and brake light are all on the same circuit. The fuse was blown so I replaced the fuse.
Why is the speedometer not working on my Triumph TR6?
However, the hazzard and signals still do not work. The purple wire was at the W2 not W1 and regardless there is no current. Therefore, I assume the hazzard switch is defective or dirty and must be removed. Currently, I am removing the speedometer as you may see by a recent thread.
