What was the problem with my Kawasaki 3010 mule?
Finally broke a front axle where it goes into the differential, destroyed the diff internals, took about $1200 to fix it. This was the last straw never so glad to get rid of a piece of equipment, traded it in on a new Kubota Rtv, Diesel, hydraulic everything, very nice no problems in two years.
Why does my Kawasaki 4WD make a clunking noise?
It has since progressed into a constant knocking noise and clunk feeling from under the floor whenever its in 4wd. Riding around in 2 its totally smooth and quiet. The knock isn’t consistent with wheel rotation or engine speed, but it is repetitive in that it continues to knock for as long as its in 4wd and the vehicle is moving.
What do you do with a Kawasaki MULE?
Light use hauling manure on a horse farm and plowing the drive in the winter. It was back to the dealer numerous times for service under warranty, they never were able to get to the bottom of things. They are an industrial motor made to run at a fixed speed, not very well suited to this kind of application.
What should I do if my mule 4010 has a problem?
Pulled the side cover off, pulled the whole chunk out of the case and couldn’t find anything obviously wrong. Put that back together, new fluid and put it back in. Checked the front cv axles and they’re in good shape. Checked the 4wd cable.

It gets used daily for hauling hay and anything else you can imagine that a horse barn would use it for. Lately its been having problems with the 4wd. About 4 months ago it started knocking occasionally. Did some research then and found that its sort of common for these to knock or clunk when the 4wd engages or disengages.

Why is my Kawasaki UTV SxS idle problem?
People who live in a hot climate run into this type fuel related problem because of the faster evaporation of the fuel. And no, don’t blame it on old gas….i’ve run engines on 2 yo old gas with no problem. I take motors that won’t run and “fix” them easily with this method if it’s a fuel problem.
Why is the idle jetting foul on a Kawasaki MULE?
When this happens the idle jetting is the first to foul and if you have any question try this. The engine will likely run only with the choke pulled because it needs a richer mixture. This is proof that the fuel is insufficient without the choke on.
