The rubber in the handlebars are still in very good condition and take a lot of the vibration and other discomforts sometimes experienced on older bikes. The bike leans well in turns and can comfortably get pegs close to ground. It shifts very smoothly and the brakes work great.

What makes BMW K100 engine smoother than BMW K75?
Its crankshaft had 120° between the throws and was counterbalanced by balance weights added to the water pump accessory shaft, which ran at engine speed as is correct for a 120° straight-three engine. The balance shaft made the K75’s engine smoother than the K100’s engine.
