What kind of bike is easier to pick up?
When a TEX falls over it’s horizontal so the rear wheel is off the ground and the front doesn’t have any weight on it. Something like a 1200GS won’t fall over completely because of the heads and bars so it’ll be easier to pick up.
Can you ride a bike you can pick up?
Lets get the snark out of the way: Riding a bike you can pick up will save you the 4 pounds of having to carry this tool. That said, seems like a clever solution. I can’t imagine being patient enough to use it instead of just manhandling the bike upright (before anyone notices!).
What kind of bike can you use on unpaved trails?
These bicycles are sometimes called flat-bar road bikes or performance hybrid bikes. Most of them can accept somewhat wider tires, to make them suitable for use on unpaved trails. They usually have the ability to mount cargo racks and fenders, which make them good commuter bikes.
Can a 5lb tool be used to pick up a bike?

Do you need a Jack to pick up a bike?
It makes picking up my loaded Explorer easy. It can also be rigged up as a come-along to pull the bike around if needed. The jack collapses down to make it easier to carry. I’ve been talking to the owner who manufactures them about making them more motorcycle friendly.
