3rd issue ….. front wheel. This issue is based on the feeling of some kind of unbalance on the front wheel, when turning the handlebar and at low speeds. Say for example I’m turning the handlebar 30 degrees , it feels like there’s some kind of an external pressure on the turn which makes the handlebar turn bit more.

I m trying to Prep my R1150GS (2003/10000 miles on clock) for an overland trip to Asia. I’m also pleased, as with that tankage I can easily get 200 miles before the reserve light even bothers to blink into life. I’m also astonished as it’s lashing it down, but the BMW R1150RT’s bulky curves are keeping my hands, legs and feet dry.
Is the BMW 1150 GS a factory upgrade?
I jumped on the 2000 1150GS model I found, after lurking here and figuring it this way. The 1100 had been around for years and there were known issues, some even recognized by BMW. So the 2000 1150 was really just a factory upgrade of the 1100.
