Which is better the Kaw 440 or the ultraprop?
The UltraProp is not nearly as efficient as the Warp, but it seems to pair up well with the Kaw 440. It tends to keep the engine loaded throughout the speed range where the Warp will unload in a dive. The Rotax will stay within temp ranges when unloaded but the Kaw440 will spike the EGT if the load goes off.
