Are there any problems with the mule 610?
Those are a couple random thoughts on this situation, for what they’re worth. @007 Mule 610. It will start and run for about a minute the dies. It blow 20 amp fuse. I am having this issue right now.
Can a Kawasaki MULE 610 run out of oil?
Don’t worry about the engine unless the governor is disconnected or modified. The engines just don’t fail. Well unless they’re run out of oil, and even then, they’ll run for an hour or so with zero oil in them at full throttle (experience speaking). They don’t make enough power to hurt themselves.
Why does my Kawasaki MULE have no power?
I noticed a few times that the fuse holder was very warm but I don’t believe Kawasaki would have made such a mistake. 5 days ago, after having to tow the mule to my shop, I decided that I was going to find that problem. I started checking power at the battery and moved toward the switch. I found that I had no power at the fuse holder.
Can a solenoid be replaced on a mule 550?
I would say replace the solenoid, they are $30 or so on eBay and easy to install, but I had the same problem on my Mule 550 gas and a new solenoid did not fix the problem. I posted a similar question yesterday, but have not received any replies.

A clutch that doesn’t engage fully, or slips under heavy load, is the normal failure mode of a worn out friction disc of pressure plate that has lost its tension. When you press the clutch, your foot counters the diaphragm spring which presses the friction disc to the flywheel.

It’s designed to run full throttle all the time. In the Mules, they commonly get run at lower speeds for short distances and a lot of them sit and idle for extended periods. Both of these conditions cause vapors to build up in the crankcase. Sometimes there’s enough humidity in the air to show up as milky oil.

But about 50% of the time when you turn the key, you can hear (and feel) the solenoid moving in the starter motor, but the motor itself fails to turn, so it does not start.
