Is the Triumph Speedmaster any good?
Speedmaster has excellent handling and instant power on tap. The suspension is very good, never bottoms out. It came with the comfort seat, which is pretty good, but the comfort pillion, while thicker than the previous years, is very hard and not cushy at all. I’d definitely recommend.

Twin 310mm front discs – gripped by twin-piston calipers – haul the Speedmaster up hard. Minimalism is key to the Speedmaster ethos. Vibration is minimal; even as the tachometer needle swings past 7000 rpm, the Speedmaster is smooth. However, the suspension doesn’t coddle you as well as the engine does, a fact that was emphasized by some of the rough roads the Triumph folks chose for the press ride.
