How much torque does an Evinrude powerhead have?
I am not certain, but on my larger hp motors, it is 14 to 16 ft/lbs, then re torqued to 18 to 20 ft/lbs after motor test. Hopefully someone will be able to verify these numbers for your outboard. Re: Evinrude powerhead bolt torque specs ?????

DO NOT STATIC SET MAX TIMING. Re-torque cylinder heads to specs. After 1 hour of break-in, allow engine to cool and retorque heads. On 3 Cylinder engines, replace water pump with new high pressure water pump.
