As the locking mech on the BMW spicifc GPS is different , ( it almost has to be forced) the handle grip wheel does not interact, and they ( the bike and GPS) don’t cross communicate and finally the Garmin 660 will still draw power from the bike even when the unit and the bike is turned off..
