I put a couple of floats and needle valve in it, polished the seat, and still couldn’t get the thing to stop draining gas. Now I have the same problem with the new carb. It sits over the summer, for the most part. I start it every time I mow the grass.

What to do if your Honda drain tube is leaking fuel?
The float can be filled with fuel or the float valve might be leakin if you take it apart again push the float up and blow into the gas inlet see if it leaks. If not make sure your float dont have a leak.
What should I do if my fuel valve is leaking?
First, remove your fuel supply line from the petcock. Then unplug the vacuum line at the back of the fuel valve. When the bike is not running, the fuel valve should only supply fuel in the prime (PRI) position. When in the on or reserve positions no fuel should be supplied.
