Where does gas rise in a Kawasaki KLF 300?
Gas should rise in the tube unitl it’s 2mm from the top of the bowl. If this is set too low the motor will run lean. If it’s too high, gas will overflow. Remember to inspect each jet with a magnifying glass and bright light. Any hidden varnish will cause problems. I also like to jet the 300 carb richer because they came lean from the factory.

When you let off of the ignition swith there is one spark. But only when you let off of the ignition switch. It has a new coil, plug wire, and plug.
