Are there any problems with my Polaris Sportsman?
-Also some machines, mostly ’03’s have cold weather start jetting updates, both of the TSB’s and the jetting should have been taken care of under warranty. -Carb boot/adaptor (p/n 1253415), the rubber gets weathered/dry rotted bad on some and may crack through causing excessive air (lean condition) and debris to enter carb/ intake.

Are there any problems with the MV 700?

Is the battery on a Polaris bike weak?

Why does my Polaris ATV not go into gear?
Polaris ATVs with EBS (engine brake system) have components that may wear out in time. Inspect the EBS fiber washers (one on each side of the EBS bushing) on the primary clutch to see if they are worn out. If the washers are worn, the belt may not ride in the grooves as it should and instead ride one of the sheaves.

When did the 2002 sportsman 700 twin come out?
-Farmr thanks to Farmr and the Frontier. I’ve had relatively good luck with my first model year 2002 Sportsman 700 twin and am very happy with it but after 5 1/2 years and over 3000 miles I can add a little to this topic, at least in reference to the earlier Twin models.
Is the Polaris belt on my car tight?
Its a great polaris belt bit is definitely tight If it is creeping with a new belt check the non-braking bearing in the primary clutch! I have replace a couple of those for myself and others. They seize up over time and can cause your shifting issue.
Why do I have a problem with my belt?
Got the machine home and totally disassembled the primary clutch (front one) and cleaned. Wiped down the secondary (rear one) with brake clean and clean paper towels. There was simply belt dust on all these parts. Installed a NEW oem belt and still have the problem.
Is the factory belt on my 08s too tight?
The 08s factory belt #s have changed a few times, and to be honest the latest batch seem to fit too tight, which is probably why you are having this issue. The good news is if you take it out and run it for an hour or two it should wear in. Thanks carnivore.
