For the rebuild I bought a complete cometic gasket kit and replaced all gaskets and seals from the cylinder base up. Rebuild went well, head torqued to cometic guidence and everything else torqued according to the service manual.

The Evo’s don’t have heat problems, don’t have chains or belts in the timing chest that can do really bad things internally, don’t have problems with the crank, or the main bearings, don’t have problems with the comp sprocket, etc, etc. Can you tell which one I prefer?
