Is there a problem with my Kawasaki Prairie 360?

I have a 09 prairie 360 it’s like brand new I only use it for work around the house and plowing. I drain the carb after every time I ride it, it’s not a carb issue.

Is the 360 Prairie 4×4 worth a look?

They’ll usually run ok down low and idle fine but the faster the engine runs and the more fuel that flows through the main jet, the richer it gets if that air bleed is restricted. Worth a look…I’ve run into this before on a 360. As I said, seems you’re pretty good with carbs and you’ve probably got it covered, but it’s still a suggestion.

What’s the bar code on a Kawasaki 360 Prairie?

It was not sugared inside the carb, but was lacquered a bit. I’ve gone through the quad front to back, adjusting the valves and changing all fluids, new battery, etc. The machine has hardly any run time on it. Heck, it still had the bar code sticker on it from the dealer. I shimmed the needle .050″ to richen up the midrange.

Why does my 360 Prairie cut out at full throttle?

At full throttle it cuts out. If I shut the fuel off and run it out wide open it will run clean as it’s running out of fuel. That tells me it’s rich. If I pull the airbox lid off, it will run clean wide open, although it’s lean in the midrange without the lid. I know it’s running rich on top.

What causes a Kawasaki motorcycle to cut out?

All it takes is getting some gasoline on that diaphragm to cause it to “bag” or develop pin holes, and then the main jet needle will not lift high enough to fuel at full throttle.

It comes in $50 less than the Yamaha Grizzly 350 4×4, $150 less than the Suzuki KingQuad 400 AS, and $350 less than the Polaris Sportsman 400 H.O. You can get the Prairie without the 4×4 option for $550 less ($4,799), but we think it’s worth spending the extra cash on four-wheel drive.

Is the Prairie 360 4 wheel drive working?

I have a 2003 Prairie 360 4X4 that is having 4 wheel drive problems. My problems is that it is currently in 4wd but will not dis-engage. I removed the actuator and verified that it is working.

Can a 360cc ATV be a climber?

You don’t often think of a 360cc ATV being an adept climber, but the Prairie proved otherwise. The best example of the Prairie’s climbing prowess we can come up with occurred when we were trying to scale a steep, rocky hill on a big Brute Force 650.
