How do I start my Polaris 800 EFI?
Starting the Engine
- Position the vehicle on a level surface outdoors or in a well-venti-
- Place the transmission in PARK.
- Lock the parking brake.
- Sit on the vehicle and move the engine stop switch to RUN.
- Do not press the throttle while starting the engine.
How do you set the clock on a 2013 Polaris Ranger?

- Press and hold the MODE button to enter the settings menu.
- Press either toggle button to cycle to the “CLOCK” option.

Only thing that has power is the instrument panel. I cleaned all the power and ground cables, check fuses, rotated relays. Also the switch on the brake, if that was a problem I think it will start in neutral without depressing brake and of course this wouldn’t cause the other problems it is having.

Click to expand… Mine (2006) is in the front end, to the left of the steering box. Overflowing carbs would be the float / needle valve. As the fuel level in the bowl fills up the float pushes a needle valve up into a seat to cut the flow of fuel off. Once fuel is used up the float falls and lets more fuel in.

Why is the spark plug on my Ranger not working?
Spark plug was damp with fuel when I removed it so I know its getting fuel. I guess its gonna make a trip to the dealer. at least try a new plug before you pay a dealer to change it for you. I may be wrong, but if the plug is wet with fuel, it seems like the spark is too weak to ignite it.
