Why does my Polaris Ranger keep overheating?
It would get so hot by the time the fan came on with temps in the 210 + range and when the fan kicked on if would drop to about 190. At times if you stopped with it hot the ranger would not start until the temp cooled down. The key on and fan running without the motor does not cool it down.

NOW YOU CANNOT HAVE THE FAN ON ALL THE TIME IF YOU ARE RIDING IN WATER THAT WILL TOUCH THE FAN BLADES. I do not have any issue with this because I never put my machine in water that deep. The polaris dealer told me the negative to turning it on manually is what is you forget to turn it off because i can make it run with the key turned on honestly this is not an issue because common sense when you turn it off is to hit the toggle switch and manually turn it off. Works great and no more high temps.
Why does my radiator fan not come on?
If you go the the harness plug that you unplug the radiator temp switch from there will be two blade connectors in there. Take a short piece of wire and jumper across this. If you turn the key on and your fan is good this will force the fan on. If you do this and turn the key on and the fan does not come on then your fan is bad.

Why is the fan not working on my Polaris ATV?
Unplug the temp sensor and turn the key on without starting the engine. The fan should run because it defaults to “ON” when there is no reading from the sensor. Wiring is almost always the problem. Have you tried pulling apart the connectors and making sure they are clean and making good contact? Even under the relays (a real pain)?
