Where does the CARB come from on a Kodiak 400?
This carb came from MIkuni with the fitment specified as only for the Kodiak 400 models. What you might what to do is to go to a Yamaha parts seller (see link) and compare the part number from a 2001 Kodiak 400 (YFM400A) to your Big Bear. If the part numbers are the same, then this carb will work for you. I have a 2004 Yamaha Kodiak 450 YFM450FAS.
