It could be going into Parade mode on Hot days. It may be the engine temp. sensor def. also. Have you checked it for codes and do you have a shop manual? I checked for codes & it doesn’t have any …. I don’t have a shop manual. Do I need to take it to Harley to see if it’s in parade mode??

I have a 2010 ultra classic with ABS. It is not starting. The battery voltage is 12.75 off the battery. When I turn the main switch on, I get a drop to 12.5, and when the kill switch is turned on, I get a drop to 12.38. The self test goes out and hit the start switch with nothing – no volt drop, no starter engage, no nothing. DEAD.

Just seems to happen when I’ve been running at a fairly wide open throttle maintaining higher speeds for a while (fwy) or longer stints (catching all green lights) on the streets at a speed of about 45 or more. It always seems to come back to a normal idle after getting back into first gear when stopped, or when I start going again in 1st.
