Can I run my Harley without o2 sensors?
You can run the bike without the o2 sensors, but it is better to run it with them. From what I was told once you have the afr set the sensors will keep it at those settings as conditions change.

I have a 2007 dyna wide glide, where is the speed sensor located? I do not have a service manual. Behind the transmission top cover and near the starter. Had the same problem on my 2000 ultra. Had to change to what my mechanic called a maxi fuse. The one under the seat left side that has the starter wires to it.

Your speed sensor reports to your module, information, that is used for signal cancellation based on distance/speed. Check your speedo head for stored diagnostic trouble codes. If your problem is not a bad speed sensor, it may be a bad TSSM (turn signal security module ).

I realize I will need to unscrew the O2 sensors from the current pipes and screw em into the new set but since I can’t actually crawl around looking at it closely yet…….Not sure about unscrewing them?
