Why does my 4×4 not work in reverse?

Why does my 4×4 not work in reverse?

4×4 works in low or high range, won’t work when in reverse. Need some suggestions please……. It’s working correctly. There is a reverse override button on left handlebar. Holding it in allows AWD in reverse as well as disabling the speed limiter. Be careful with full power in reverse. :shocked1: Dummy me didn’t read you other post first.

What should I do if my Polaris 4×4 is not working?

If all else fails flush the front diff repeatedly with parts cleaner and then change the fluid a few times running the machine for a bit in between each change. Best bet is still to tear it down for a good as new cleaning. Did you find the recommended reading relevant to this discussion?

Why is my Polaris Ranger hard to shift?

I brought it home took it off the trailer and all of a sudden it’s really hard to shift out of low. I was driving in low for about 15 min to break in the belt when I went to change into high it wouldn’t move at all. I forced it into high but now it’s really hard to shift into any gear. Any suggestions? The most common reason is a high idle.

Why is my Polaris 4×4 not working in reverse?

The front diffs are very finicky when it comes to the fluid and cleanliness. I tore mine completely apart (not a bad job at all with an extra set of hands) and cleaned the living hell out of it and re-assembled. Then added the correct amount of Polaris Demand Drive fluid.

Im sure one of the electrical gurus will be on here to help you shortly. I just did the iac harness replacement and now it starts fine and idles at about 1250 rpms, but after it warms up the idling goes as high as 3100…..getting very frustrated. 302 miles since new, what next??? 2 things.
