A FEW do tend to un-align and go OUT and that causes a LOT of vibration, could break the oil-pump gerotors. as the crank wobbles inside the tight clearances of the oil pump… IF it feels like totally in the engine, It should be checked.

The concern I have is my footboards vibrate so much at 100 to 120 km/h that my feet go to sleep and come off the floorboards. It’s a 1996 FLSTC 80,000 km’s.

Hard vibration starts at around 61mph and subsides at just over 70mph. Worse when going up hill. I think tires and such are ruled out since while its vibrating, if you take your foot off the throttle, it immediately stops. I figure if it were tires/rotors, it would continue regardless the engine load.
