How do I reset my RZR?
To reset or change the service interval:
- Press and hold the MODE (4) button to enter the settings menu.
- Press either toggle button (5) to cycle to the “Service Hours” option. Press MODE to select.
- Press MODE to reset the existing value and exit or press either toggle button to change the value.
How do you reset the codes on a Polaris RZR?
Disconnect both battery terminals. Touch both terminals together and hold for 10 seconds. Reconnect to battery. That should do it.

Press and hold the mode button for 2-3 seconds, until the wrench icon flashes, then release button. How can I fix the cable on my Polaris ATV?
Wind the larger nut out to tighten it and In to slacken. Use a wrench, (spanner), to hold the large nut still and re-tighten the small nut to lock it. Some versions don’t have the smaller lock nut so you just wind them in or out. If you need to move it a large amount it might be easier to just replace the whole cable.
What’s the reliability of a Polaris side by side?
I think the reliability of any side by side is inversely proportional to the number of teenage boys living in the house. My limited experience with Polaris is a buddy had a brand new RZR burn to the ground a couple years ago. I think there was some sort of recall.
