How to Remove the Seat of a Harley Sportster
- Unscrew the bolt attaching the seat to the rear fender, using a Phillips screwdriver.
- Grasp the rear of the seat and lift it off of the rear fender.
- Pull the seat away from the gas tank until the tongue under the front of the seat is freed from the catch slot on the frame.
