- Disconnect the fuel filter by depressing the white tangs on either side of the filter, then pull the fuel line off.

After about 10 seconds the engine shuts off as it has run out of gas. After a couple more starts the engine starts but skipping and spuddering as if it was running too rich. After a while running, it runs great. Did you change fuel filters? This doesn’t sound like a filter issue- perhaps there is something in the tank moving around ?

Why is my Gator 625i running out of gas?
Today l started my 625i Gator and the same issue occurred. I started the engine with no problem, but after 15 seconds of idling the engine stopped as it ran out of gas. I started it again, this time pressing the gas pedal as it started but was spuddering and popping from the exhaust.

Changed all the above and started the gator and noticed the issue is still there. Switched plugs back to old ones and no change.
