How reliable is the suzuki Burgman 650?

The Burgman 650 is the most reliable motorcycle I have owned. I’ve had some that were as good, but none better. I’ve owned quite a few Goldwings from 1975 through 2005. They were good, but not as good for all around riding as the Burgman 650.

Do you need to change the belt on a Burgman 650?

Yes, the bike will be down a couple of weeks when that belt needs changed but it is not a problem to change it as long as you have a shop manual and tools. The centrifugal clutch is a little snatchy at low revs but the continuously variable drive system/transmission is both smooth & effortless. High speed motorway cruising at 70+mph is effortless.
