Why are the turn signals on my Chevy truck not working?
Also the right rear tail lights don’t work. Can’t find a blown fuse and the bulbs appear to be good. It also doesn’t happen all the time….weird. I’d start by adding a 6 ohm 50 watt resistor per each turn signal location to see if that corrects the problem. Just picked up this truck last week…
Is the turn signal relay a non replaceable component?
I looked into finding the flasher module and was informed at the dealership that it is incorporated into the turn signal assembly and a non replaceable component. My lights flash fast now as well. I just left everything as LED on my flatbed and let flash fast. Hooked to a trailer it flashes normally though.
What’s the issue with the blinker on my Chevy Silverado?
When I figure it out ill post. 2012 2500 chevy lml. Same issue basically. 2013 Silverado, someone put led lights in the rear. Blinker was fine for over a year and now I’m getting the normal blink for 5 seconds than goes hyper. No lights out, same issue on left and right blinker.
What happens when the turn signal comes on?
All the turn signals come on… front, rear and mirrors. You engage the signal and it blinks fine several times then goes into hyper mode. Haven’t tried to see what happens when the hazards are turned on. Going to try that and see what happens later tonight.
Is it possible to change the turn signal relay?
Is it possible to change it to a type that is not load dependent – so one could install LED turn signal light / brake lights without changing the flashing interval of the turn signal lights?
What to do if your turn signal does not flash?
If it bugs you, just replace a couple of the lights with regular bulbs, they would have enough resistance to make it flash normally.
