How often should I Flush my Mitsubishi Pajero Rad?
Also flushing the rad ( back flush too ) seperately is a good idea. I would fill, run and flush with just water a few times to be sure. Final fill very slowly and preferably nose up high in the air. it it’s a 2.8 unbolt the thermostat housing to get the water out of the block too….

All i did was undo the tap on the bottom right hand side of the radiator as you look at the car and let all the water drain out.

Flushed with running water using a hose pipe! took the car for a spin! Flushed again filled with water and a flushing fluid!, another drive (with aircon ON)…. flushed again and filled with AntiFreeze and added a Rad. Seal fluid! just in case

I refilled it with clean water and run it for 10 mins and did the same again but the water was a bit cleaner when i drained it for the second time, the only thing is the engines have a cast iron block so whatever you do to flush and drain it, it will be dirty within a few weeks again.

Why does my Pajero water pump overheat while driving?
Most of the overheating issues are being solved while cleaning the radiator or replacing it with a new one (read about how to replace your radiator here ). If your Pajero overheats while driving on the free way, then I would suspect the radiator and water pump.
