Is the 2002 Mitsubishi Montero in good condition?
It was in very good condition and a clean carfax. Took it to Mitsubishi and had a complete lookover and the previous owner took real good care of it with not a single mechanical or electrical issue for the exception of a brake actuator which was making a chirping noise which was covered under the 150,000 mile / 10 year warranty.

What’s the maximum speed of a Mitsubishi Montero?
It’s 3.5 L V6 provides adequate power off the blocks and accelerating and I had no trouble overtaking. It’s maximum speed is about 105-110 mph. As usual Mitsubishi is known for it’s reliability and ruggedness specialy outside USA. I think Mitsubishi is verymuch underated in USA.
Which is better a Mitsubishi Montero or a Chevy Trailblazer?
Ive never really been a Mitsubishi guy. But after having one of these, I have to say it drives better than any SUV newer or older than I ever had. Even on ice, it does considerably better than my: 2009 Super duty, 2003 Trailblazer, or my wifes 2013 Chevy Equinox. This is my 4th Montero (1996, 1998, 2001 and this 2003 Montero).
