My l200 has been parked up for 8 months. Recently I tried to start it but the battery was flat so I tried with jump lead… Having a problem with your Mitsubishi L200?

Why does my L200 not go into 4 wheel drive?
If you are not getting full engagement even when operating the vacuum manually (eliminating any potential for a vacuum leak or bad solenoid etc), then there is an issue with the physical axle engagement. At this point disassembly would be necessary to see why the axle is not engaging properly.

I have a friend with an L200 which is suffering from the a lack of power. when he puts his foot on the throttle the engine hesitates before accelerating off, normally in a cloud of black smoke. Also it’s currently doing about 30 miles to £10 worth of diesel.

Why is my Mitsubishi Triton surging under load?
Terrible surging with the engine under load… Along with the thing being extremely ‘lazy’ to start first thing. It has been an intermittent issue until just recently and has now become an ‘all the time’ problem. Ive tried absolutely everything, New injectors, New battery, New glow plugs, cleaned out the inlet manifold…the works.
