Big surprise is gas mileage. It spending less than my wife’s nissan juke. Last night I went to gas station after exactly 100km I put 8 litars of gas in it. Thats 30mpg. I almost fall on my BACK when I’ve seen that. I was expecting at least double. What else can I say. Prefect, perfect and perfect car.
Which is better a Mitsubishi Montero or a Chevy Trailblazer?
Ive never really been a Mitsubishi guy. But after having one of these, I have to say it drives better than any SUV newer or older than I ever had. Even on ice, it does considerably better than my: 2009 Super duty, 2003 Trailblazer, or my wifes 2013 Chevy Equinox. This is my 4th Montero (1996, 1998, 2001 and this 2003 Montero).
Is the Mitsubishi Montero Sport worth the money?
I really am enjoying this car and if you find one with lots of miles but good upkeep and maintenance I can definitely say, for the money (1500 in my case) it is money well worth spent. I’ve owned it over 3 years.

I absolutely love it I’ll never get rid of it wish I could get a new one . I bought this car in 2020 so its 15 years old with 100,000 miles or 160,000 km in Canada.
